New York rapper Bobby Shmurda really is just weeks away from touching down. The jailed rap artist’s mom has come forward to confirm buzz and hype about his release from behind bars going down in February.

Shmurda’s day one went to her Instagram page to give fans all the ammunition needed to get excited about Bobby’s near release. Without hinting at an exact date, she refers to February needing to hurry up and arrive for Shmurda.

“My #MCM….. I am counting down just wishing we could run straight to February right quick. The come back wil be Epic!!! I can’t wait to hug my child it had been almost a year anxiety is getting the best of me.”

Bobby Shmurda Looking At Early Release Date

Bobby Shmurda was arrested in 2014 and convicted in 2016 of conspiracy and weapons charges. Since he’s been in prison, he’s committed multiple violations related to fighting, drugs and weapons. He was denied parole in 2020, but now there’s a clear path for the “Hot N*gga” spitter to get out in a matter of weeks.

Bobby Shmurda is reportedly set to be released from prison towards the end of February, 2021. Reportedly, New York state correctional records that reveal a conditional release for Bobby has been set for February 23rd. We previously reported that Shmurda was denied parole multiple times as his initial release date was set for December 21st, 2021. (Hot 97)

At his last parole hearing, Shmurda, 26 years old, testified that he’s a changed man and that he’s become a leader instead of a follower while serving his time. The parole board, however, cited the trouble Shmurda has gotten into since he’s been locked up.

Young Thug and Quavo’s Shmurda Support

In August 2020, Atlanta rap star Young Thug hit up his Instagram page to show his support for both Bobby and fellow hip-hop artist Rowdy Rebel. The heartfelt shout-out inspired Migos’ Quavo to also promise the rap artists could look forward to a collaboration from him upon their release.
