New York rapper Juelz Santana is finally free at last. The hip-hop veteran and Dipset member is out of prison after serving time behind bars on a gun conviction.

Santana went to his Instagram page on Wednesday with the breaking news. In addition to celebrating his freedom, Juelz shared moments reunited with his wife Kimbella and their kids.

High-Key Details
Initial plans had Juelz coming out of prison in early 2021. However, the global coronavirus pandemic reportedly played a key role in getting Santana home sooner.
He was actually scheduled to be released in Feb. 2021. However, Kimbella and his legal team were fighting for the last few months for an earlier date for him due to the Coronavirus pandemic and prisoners’ wellbeing with the sickness continuing to run rampant behind bars. In June 2020, Kim shouted out her ride or die for Father’s Day. Bella acknowledged her jailed husband Juelz Santana’s daddy duties with a throwback pic.

Recently, Kim went to “The Breakfast Club” radio show to talk about Santana’s new music and his status behind bars. She also said Juelz is getting released from jail in the coming months.
“He’s serving his sentence. He is due to be home this summer. So we have some music that we released from him. It’s very important for us to do that because as some people may not know, it has been difficult in the past for Juelz to release music. So now that we have the music – [the songs] are not old at all. I would say about a year old.
