Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign is fed up with French Montana. The drill movement staple took to Instagram Live to go off on the Bad Boy Records artist, who recently released the drill-influenced track “That’s A Fact.” Fellow drill rapper Mr Swipey is featured in the song’s music video as a background dancer to which Fivio didn’t take too well.

Fivio Foreign ripped French, accusing him of using drill beats and sounds but not caring enough to actually make music with drill rappers to help put them on.

“French Montana wilding, n***a. He gonna have Swipey dancing and spinning in every video like he some type of back up dancer. You ain’t ’bout to be using drill beats and having n****s spinning. Put that n***a on a song or something like that. N****s like Meek, Drake – n****s like that. Them n****s putting on,” Fivio said. “Them n****s is doing songs with n****s. Them n****s is sharing n****s’ posts. … I see n****s trying to be down trying to do what n****s do. Cool, I’m not mad. Do what n****s do. But at the end of the day, put on for n****s.”

Drake Puts On For The Drill

OVO Sound boss Drake has mad unreleased music on deck. The 6 God has treated fans to a sneak peek at big records on deck with Fivio as well as popular rapper Playboi Carti.

One of the new songs previewed was Drake’s anticipated collaboration with Playboi Carti. The song, known as “Pain 1993,” is produced by Pi’erre Bourne and is expected to arrive on Carti’s upcoming album Whole Lotta Red. Drake also shared his verse from his upcoming collaboration with Sosa Geek and Fivio Foreign. The JB MadeIt-produced track was previously teased in February and offers more Drake over UK drill backdrops; he went the drill route in December with “War.” (Complex)

Montana recently drew controversy went he went to his social media pages to put big respect on his hit-making capabilities in comparison to rap star Kendrick Lamar.

Instead of staying mum on the topic, Atlanta rapper Young Thug had to weigh in. The hip-hop star went online and questioned French going up against Kendrick.
