Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has new music coming today. The hip-hop heavyweight has announced his new God’s Country album will have its first single arrive any minute today.

On Monday, Mr. West hit up Twitter to break the huge new tunes news. In addition to announcing his new LP’s title, Yeezy vowed to release a new tune called “Wash Us in the Blood” before June 30.

High-Key Details
Recently, buzz developed bout Kanye having a new project on deck. His video artist Arthur Jafa teased the album’s production.
As previously reported, Jafa shared news of God’s Country‘s existence last month, while also revealing his involvement in an accompanying video. Previously, Jafa had soundtracked his 2017 video Love Is the Message, The Message Is Death, with West’s “Ultralight Beam.” (Exclaim!)

The new music hype comes after months of mounted anticipation for new Yeezy records. Kanye recently put a couple gospel-inspired albums influenced by admiration for Jesus.
“Wash Us in Blood” will mark Kanye West’s first new music since his 2019 gospel album Jesus Is King and the Sunday Service Choir’s album Jesus Is Born. So far in 2020 (prior to the coronavirus pandemic), Kanye West continued to offer Sunday Service sessions. At one, he and Chance the Rapper paid tribute to the late Kobe Bryant. West also threw a Yeezy Season fashion show that featured a performance from his daughter, North West. (Pitchfork)
