Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West isn’t ready to stop sharing his stance toward abortion. The hip-hop veteran has returned to social media to speak on the importance of understanding how many Black lives have been aborted in half a century.
Kanye West’s Abortion Obsession
Heading into the weekend, Kanye returned to Twitter to discuss some thoughts on the abortion topic. In addition to speaking on over 22.5 million abortions happening within the Black community alone, West also shared an article about Planned Parenthood.
“Over 22,500,000 black babies have been aborted over the past 50 years.” -Kanye West’s Twitter
The July 21, 2020 published New York Post story about Planned Parenthood of Greater New York centered its attention on controversy surrounding one of the pro-women’s choice organization’s founders Margaret Sanger. More specifically, Sanger reportedly supported selective breeding and had racist legacy.
“The removal of Margaret Sanger’s name from our building is both a necessary and overdue step to reckon with our legacy and acknowledge Planned Parenthood’s contributions to historical reproductive harm within communities of color,” Karen Seltzer, the chair of Planned Parenthood of New York, said in a statement. “Margaret Sanger’s concerns and advocacy for reproductive health have been clearly documented, but so too has her racist legacy.” The Planned Parenthood founder’s troubling embrace of eugenics — which was later practiced by the Nazis — has come into focus in recent years. On Friday, Mr. West hit up Twitter with emotional words. Kanye said he couldn’t understand why people didn’t have deeper feelings about the thought of abortion.
“I cried at the thought of aborting my first born and everyone was so concerned about me… I’m concerned for the world that feels you shouldn’t cry about this subject. … There is a tactic of 4 D’s Distract Discredit Dismiss To Destroy I am quite alright Take a second and think about what is being projected here” -Kanye West’s Twitter
Kanye’s abortion tweets come weeks after he revealed coming close to aborting his first child North West at a South Carolina presidential campaign rally. At the event, West couldn’t hold back his tears and cried about the situation.
Wait, There’s More
Earlier in the week, reports surfaced about Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian arriving back in Los Angeles alone after a brief reunion with him in Wyoming. The news came following pics of the couple in a car together with a visible Kim K shown crying.
Kim Kardashian West is back home. The reality star and mother of four returned to Los Angeles on Tuesday after a somber reunion with husband Kanye West in Wyoming on Monday. The 39-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star flew back alone. She was spotted after her plane touched down in L.A., in photos published by TMZ. This week, pics emerged online of Kanye and Kim back at it together. While details were still scarce, it appeared Kardashian flew out to Wyoming to be with West.

News, “It got very emotional.” Their face-to-face interaction comes just two days after the 43-year-old rapper and presidential hopeful publicly apologized to his wife of six years. (E! Online)
Before You Go
According to reports, Kanye West had a hospital visit last Saturday afternoon just outside of his poplar ranch. Details immediately surfaced on his low-key appearance at a Wyoming medical center.
Kanye entered the E.R. door of the hospital in Cody Saturday afternoon, and stayed inside for about 10 minutes. We’re told he returned to his ranch and a short time later an ambulance arrived on the property. This comes just an hour or so after Kanye went public to apologize to Kim for his hurtful comment — presumably about abortion. She has been desperately trying to convince her husband, who is in the middle of a serious bipolar episode, to get help, but he had shut down her efforts. (TMZ)
