New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine wants all the smoke with Meek Mill. The hip-hop entertainer has called out the Dreamchasers boss for trying to allegedly profit off the current Black Lives Matter movement.

On Friday, Tek hit up Instagram and didn’t hold back on lighting up Mill. 6ix9ine referenced Kanye West showing his support for the movement but not seeing Meek do his part and hit the streets with protestors.

High-Key Details

On Friday, Meek shared his new protest-themed “Otherside of America” song. The record takes direct aim at police brutality and what’s happening around the nation.

The Philadelphia rapper’s hard-hitting salvo does not directly address the protests against police brutality spurred by the death of George Floyd at the hands of police in Minneapolis. But the song — which opens with a clip from a Donald Trump speech in which he asks African Americans voters “What do you have to lose?” — does chronicle Mill’s experiences as an endangered black man, entangled in the criminal justice system as he grew up on the streets of Philadelphia. Wait, There’s More

This week, Kanye West’s team addressed his contribution to Black Lives Matter. His team revealed Ye put together millions to help out families of police brutality.

Kanye West is donating $2 million to support the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. Representatives of the rapper said he’s paying for a college fund for Floyd’s 6-year-old daughter, Gianna. West is also helping with the legal bills for the three families. Part of the money will also help struggling black-owned businesses in the artist’s native Chicago, his representatives said. (KKTV News)
