Lights, Camera + Action
A few days ago, buzz developed about Tek wanting to get his rap career started again. Reports claimed he requested permission from a judge to film music videos from home weeks after getting released from prison early.
According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Tekashi’s legal team is asking Judge Engelmayer to allow the rapper to spend up to 2 hours in his backyard once a week to work on music videos. In the docs, Tekashi’s lawyers say his probation officer is aware of the request and has no objection … so 69 just needs the judge’s stamp of approval too. (TMZ)
Wait, There’s More
New reports claim the Brooklyn hip-hop artist is dropping big stacks on everything from cars to jewelry. According to reports, 6ix9ine has bought some of the most lavish things available. He’s allegedly dropped money on multiple cars, watches and a chain worth $300,000.
Sources close to Tekashi69 tell TMZ … the rapper is throwing tons of money around on whips and bling, purchasing a fleet of luxury vehicles that includes an Aventador, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and a Range Rover!!! We’re told he splurged on 4 timepieces, including a Richard Mille watch, and dropped another $300,000 on a chain shaped like a shark. Tekashi’s now under supervised release in-home incarceration. Because 69’s on house arrest, our sources say he’s making the lavish purchases over the phone with the help of his trusted associates. (TMZ)
Before You Go
6ix9ine is working on a pair of new albums after landing a $10 million deal back in the fall of 2019 with label 10K Projects.
According to reports, he’ll be allowed to work on music while on house arrest. “What he’s gonna do is, he already has that advance for 10K Projects,” says lawyer his Dawn Florio. “So he has to put out a Spanish album and an English album. So that’s what he’s going to be working on.” Since he already has the advance from his label, he has to put out the album promptly. “He already got an advance for all those millions of dollars. So he’s gotta put out those two albums as soon as possible,” she added. (Hot 97)
