DaBaby’s “Blame It On Baby” continues to rake in the streams, officially securing the rapper another gold plaque.

Though some seem to take pleasure in hoping that North Carolina artist DaBaby falters, it would appear that the exuberant rapper cannot be stopped. Not only does he continue to put in work in the studio, recently previewing a new track that finds him spitting double-time bars, but his latest studio album Blame It On Baby continues to climb up the charts — largely in part due to the Roddy Ricch-assisted “Rockstar,” which remains one of the country’s most popular anthems.

In any case, DaBaby’s latest has officially secured him yet another plaque, this one of the gold variety, for his expansive collection of ten; five gold, five platinum. Considering the album has only been out since April 17th, it’s a pretty impressive haul considering the brief time frame. Basically, it’s a testament to DaBaby’s popularity as an artist, and given that he’s gearing up to deliver some “Rockstar” visuals in the imminent future, expect the numbers to continue rising until platinum is within reach.

Likewise for the number of plaques on his wall. In case you missed it, DaBaby recently joined forces with Jack Harlow, Lil Wayne, and Tory Lanez for a stacked remix of “What’s Poppin,” and it wouldn’t be surprising to see that one go gold before the year is done. All things considered, it’s been a hell of a year for Baby, and it’s only halfway through. Congratulations!
