Walmart’s selling 4PF chains and Lil Baby isn’t necessarily happy about it.
Lil Baby is surely one of the biggest rappers in the game right now. He’s seen extraordinary success in recent times following the release of My Turn as well as the deluxe edition which has helped him secure three weeks atop the Billboard 200. Needless to say, he’s poppin’ right now. So poppin’, in fact, that Walmart has been selling fake chains with his company logo on it.
Earlier today, people discovered that Walmart was selling 4PF chains on their website for $70. The chains have the exact same logo as Lil Baby’s chain. Without even a mention of Lil Baby, Walmart completely jacked his branding. Of course, when you’ve had the number one spot on the Billboard 200, there will be a few people who will likely take notice.
This eventually caught Lil Baby’s attention who took to Twitter to react to Walmart’s fake chain. “Walmart got me fucced up,” he tweeted. It’s unclear if he has any plans to take legal action against them but clearly, he doesn’t approve.
In related news, the rapper not only held the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 for a second week in a row with My Turn but he also recently earned his highest-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 with “The Bigger Picture” which debuted at #3.
