Rap icon Eminem is keeping the positivity going. After celebrating over a decade of sobriety earlier this week, Slim Shady has come to the rescue for Detroit hospitals to hand-deliver cups of Mom’s Spaghetti to health care workers.
Eminem Fuels Up Detroit Healthcare Workers
According to reports, Em went to Detroit’s Henry Ford Hospital and Detroit Medical Center to drop off the meals. Pics from the great deed have already started to circulate around the Internet.
“Through his Marshall Mathers Foundation, Eminem will be providing cups of Mom’s Spaghetti to healthcare workers around the Detroit area of the next few weeks, according to this camp. If you recall, Mom’s Spaghetti isn’t just a famous namedrop on Eminem’s Oscar-Winning song “Lose Yourself,” but also a staple in the festival circuit with its pop-up spots.” (Billboard)

Wait, There’s More
Em’s daughter has a new perspective on life. His mini-me Hailie Jade has dished on her state of mind during quarantine. Jade went to her Instagram page last night to talk about Earth Day. She also discussed taking the time to appreciate the planet while people remain isolated to slow the spread of COVID-19.
“Happy earth day to this beautiful planet! This has been such a weird and hard time for everyone, but as life has become slower people have more time to reflect.. I know if life were it’s normal busy self today, i might not have stopped to recognize earth day for as long as I have & looked through as many pictures of this pretty planet as I did.” -Hailie Jade’s Instagram
Before You Go
Hollywood actor and comedian Nick Cannon is too proud to back down from the self-proclaimed rap god. In a new interview, Cannon dished on his dedication to fueling a rap battle against Slim Shady. He also explained why he couldn’t help but clap back at Em after getting singled out on a 2019 song.
“My response was his invitation to Wild ‘N Out, and that still stands. You gotta remember, I was defending myself once again. He keeps bringing it up for decades. I’m one of those cats that matches energy. I don’t do it — I overdo it. Even in high school, I was a little guy, but if you made fun of me, I was gonna make fun of you, your momma, and that’s the same energy of Wild ‘N Out. It was a month of social commentary, but if you’ve ever heard me speak on this matter, I always give that dude his props as an icon in hip-hop. I think he knows better now. If he keeps talking about me, I’m gonna keep talking back.” (Billboard)
