There’s a new beef in town. Shaquille O’Neal has dropped a diss track aimed at Shannon Sharpe.
The whole saga began when Shannon accused Shaq of being jealous of Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, who just won his third NBA MVP title. During an interview with Jokic on Inside the NBA May 8, O’Neal told the three-time MVP that he thought the award would go to Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Some fans thought the comment wasn’t made in good taste. Shannon took the opportunity to criticize Shaq, going on The Nightcap podcast to call O’Neal jealous of the Nuggets center for earning his third MVP award. He said, “Shaq should have five MVPs. He sees a guy like Nikola Jokic, that’s not as dominant as him and gets three in four years.”

O’Neal then took to Instagram with a lengthy message for Sharpe. “You took me sticking up for @shai as jealousy?? shows how smart you are and how you say anything to get clicks,” he wrote.
He has now dropped a diss song aimed at Shannon which you can listen below.
