Former The Roots group member Jaguar Wright is letting it all out. The veteran crooner has come forward to blast away at Questlove and Black Thought over the alleged mistreatment of late member Malik B.

Heading into the week, Wright went to her Instagram page to serve up all the tea. In addition to ripping the Roots’ standout duo for not helping Malik during his times of need, she also said both Quest and Thought pushed people away from working with B.
“Y’all all online talking about respect the family and this and that, but you didn’t respect your brother enough to come get him when he was doing bad. Y’all wasn’t trying to help him, y’all was telling people to turn their back on him while calling him a drug addict. … You up on stage because of Malik, he had the foresight to see what hip-hop was doing, not you. Last Wednesday, reports surfaced about Malik’s shocking death. The buzz initially stemmed from reactions and statements first made on Twitter.
The news was initially confirmed on Twitter by both Malik’s cousin, former CBS News correspondent Don Champion, and fellow Philadelphian Reef The Lost Cauze, a close friend and collaborator of The Roots MC who was well-known in the 2000s as a member of underground rap supergroup Army Of The Pharaohs.
