“So for the people I was talking about, are the people whose job is to be in the room,” she said.

The comments came after her former co-host DJ Envy corrected the record calling Yee’s claims “cap” with the baseball hat emoji.

In the interview with Tamron Hall, the radio show host initially expressed how she felt about being the only woman in the room during the controversy with now-former co-host Charlamagne Tha God.

“I was the only woman who worked there too, when it came to producers, camera people; and it wasn’t an easy room for me to be in,” Yee said. “So I feel like I did need more backup. Because even things I felt as a woman, somebody can’t understand your point of view because they’re not where you come from, and so that was hard for me too, to be the only woman there with nobody to check somebody, you shouldn’t have said that.”

Fans & Celebs React To Yee’s Claims

Lil Mama responded on Instagram and said that Yee has made women of color feel like the only ones in the room themselves.

“Oh please, she was up there playing foul games too, she has helped make multiple women, especially of color, feel like the only woman in that room numerous times.”

Reality star Erica Mena also went on Instagram to accuse the Lip Service podcast co-host of playing along in DJ Envy living a double life while married a decade ago.

“Is this the same woman who helped DJ shrimp, (DJ Envy) play along in living a double life once upon a time,” Mena asked.  “One of the few at the time knew the truth of him being married.”

One fan on Twitter tweeted a flashback of R&B singer K. Michelle confronting Angela on the show in the past.

Another fan also took a trip down memory lane and pulled up Charlamagne Tha God’s solo interview with Gucci Mane, who Yee feuded with in 2016.
