G Herbo’s In Tears Over Drake Vs. Kanye West

It appeared to all start courtesy of Drake leaking disses aimed at him courtesy of Kanye on a leaked “Life of the Party” song. Rap personality Akademiks shared the audio to the masses on his Instagram page.

“drake got on his radio show last night and leaked #kanyewest diss song towards him. Kanye put it on GD n told drake to stop playin wit him ???”

The post ignited a random reaction from G Herbo. Instead of using words, Herbo shared a slew of crying emojis to acknowledge the tensions between Drake and Ye.

“?????????”

On the leaked song, Kanye doesn’t hold back on demanding respect from his peer and completely going off on the 6 God with hard-hitting lyrics.

“I put Virgil and Drake on the same text/And it wasn’t about the matching arc’teryx or Kid Cudi dress/Just told these grown men to stop it with the funny sh*t/I might hire the whole team from ACG/So don’t text me like I’m Juanita JCV/Or more important, Monica Corgan, who was there for me … Thought we was the new Abu Dhabi/Told Drake don’t play with me on GD/And he sent that message to everybody/So if I hit you with a ‘WYD’/You better hit me with a ‘Yes sir, I’m writing everything you need’”

Drake Goes At Kanye West On CLB

On Drake’s new “7am On Bridle Path” anthem, he takes direct aim at Kanye. The Toronto native references West’s decision to recently post-and-delete Drizzy’s actual home address on social media.

“Give that address to your driver, make it your destination
‘Stead of just a post out of desperation
This me reachin’ the deepest state of my meditation
While you over there tryna impress the nation
Mind’s runnin’ wild with the speculation
Why the f-ck we peacemakin’, doin’ the explanations
If we just gon’ be right back in that b*tch without hesitation?”

Kanye West Ready To Clap At Drake If…

According to reports, Ye was very concerned about the possibility of getting name-dropped on Drake’s new Certified Lover Boy LP. Even worse, West was down to go pound for pound with the Toronto native if Drake went at him on the project. Kanye’s manager provided some insight on what’s at risk if Drizzy went at Ye.

We got Bu Thiam at LAX Wednesday who tells us Kanye recently called Chris Brown to work things out and the two are cool again. Bu tells us things are cool between Ye and Drizzy — but that could all change if Drake takes aim at Kanye in any songs on ‘CLB’ — where Kanye would almost certainly have to respond. As for whether or not Kanye plans to tour “Donda” for fans across the country, Bu’s got an answer for us … but there’s still a whole lot of mystery. (TMZ)

And just a friendly reminder, Drake’s new LP officially drops in the coming hours. He’s also taken public swipes at Ye on recent songs including Trippie Redd‘s “Betrayal” anthem off his recently released Tripp At Knight album.

Chicago Mayor Shows Drake’s CLB Big Love

Chicago’s Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot might be supportive of rap star Kanye West’s Donda album but this week she’s completely riding with Certified Lover Boy wave. The 56th mayor of Chi-Town has shown a major salute to Ye’s rap rival Drake in celebration of his new studio album.

Lightfoot’s Twitter page lit up Friday with a huge shout-out to the 6 God. She used the theme of Drake’s cover art to playfully plug her own financial agenda.

“CERTIFIED BUDGET SEASON ? 1. What is the City Budget? 2. What is the City Budget Gap? 3. What’s next in the City Budget process? 4. How does the City Budget impact me?”

Social media didn’t have the same sense of humor as Lightfoot though. People had mixed feelings about the mayor using CLB as an opportunity to talk politics.

“This stinks”

“Does this mean you’re multiplying as rapidly as the lethal virus you’re allowing to spread across the city?”

“Your social media team has to know you’re going to get roasted for things like this …”

“I’m pretty sure they have no clue how the internet works.”
