Florida rapper Lil Pump is sparking major controversy. In new rock-and-roll music he previewed, Pump name-drops the late Juice WRLD, who overdosed in December of 2019. The lyrics have caused lots of backlash for the hip-hop rookie, who hasn’t responded yet.

The Internet Isn’t Having It

Social media has erupted over the lines. Fans are accusing Pump of being disrespectful and clout-chasing among other things.

Wait, There’s More

Outside of the drama, LP recently posted a solo pic of himself donning a huge ‘Dade County’ tattoo across his tummy. He’s repping his entire area code with the new stomach ink.

Before You Go

On Friday, Lil Pump dropped his skull-filled, spooky new “Illuminati” music video with collator Anuel AA. The record is Pump’s first new song since summer 2019.

Rumors about a new music video from Lil Pump surfaced late last year when the 19-year-old “Gucci Gang” rapper shared a profanity-laced Instagram clip showing his bloodied hand after being bitten by a snake. On Friday (April 24), Pump and Anuel AA dropped the hellish Spiff TV-directed video for “Illuminati,” which features the two artists surrounded by death, fire and plenty of serpents. “Illuminati” and its accompanying video were released through Tha Lights Global.
