High-Key Details

A few days ago, Mulatto treated fans to a new visual. The hip-hop artist premiered her Saweetie and Trina-featured “B*tch From Da Souf” remix music video to the masses.

Throughout the music video, each rapper flaunts their unique wordplay. Clearly Trina shines as she’s the veteran, Saweetie honestly dominates during her scene which features Mulatto and her inside a pastel-themed restaurant. (Okayplayer)

Wait, There’s More

Latto made sure to explain how much the video meant to her. She dished on her admiration for both Saweetie and Trina.

“I’m especially excited to be dropping the video during Women’s History Month. I cannot thank Trina and Saweetie enough for being a part of this. The energy on set was unmatched. Saweetie is truly a sweetheart. Trina is a real-life role model, not only as a rapper but as a woman.” (Complex)

Before You Go

In addition to the huge premiere, Latto broke some major news. She announced a new partnership with iconic record label RCA.

The female-empowered video was shot in L.A. and Atlanta and was directed by Sara Lacombe, who’s worked with Cardi BCityGirlsLil Baby and more. Prior to the music video release, Mulatto announced her inking with RCA on her socials. “For 5 years I worked independently waiting for the right opportunity to present itself. I knew in my heart that it was time and felt 100% confident in choosing RCA,” said Mulatto. RCA’s Chairman & CEO, Peter Edge, adds, “We’re excited to have Mulatto join the RCA family. She is a bright, talented young star who has already made incredible strides in her career.” (HITS Daily Double)
