Grammy-winning producer Timbaland has just provided all the ammunition needed for Notorious B.I.G. fans to go off on loyal 2Pac supporters. The hip-hop hitmaker and co-creator of the viral Verzuz battles has imagined the two late music icons facing off in a 20-song match.
2Pac Verzuz BIG Battle
Timbaland went to his Instagram page Friday to re-post a battle outcome between Biggie Smalls and Pac. Despite the initial close match-up perception, the face-off had Tupac easily taking down the Bad Boy Records legend.
“Imagine this‼️‼️ @verzuztv Btw this was n my timeline I believe this is not accurate but imagine this verzuz???” -Timbaland’s Instagram
Timbaland also shared his thoughts on an imagined Verzuz between music icons Mariah Carey and the late Whitney Houston.
“This is a good match but me and @therealswizzz have other plans for @mariahcarey ?? @jermainedupri any thoughts ??” -Timbaland
High-Key Details
This week, rap star Drake made headlines after spending $300,000 each on a couple of iced-out 2Pac chains by Los Angeles jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills. The epic pieces took over a month to fully complete and deliver to Drake.
Each pendant comes with a diamond chain with a total of approximately 70 carats of flawless white and yellow diamonds, plus … over a HALF KILO of gold in total. Total price for each piece was $300k!!! We’re told Jason and his crew spent about 5 weeks completing the Pac-Jesus pieces. Drake initially came to Jason with an idea about what he wanted … and they worked together to come up with the final tribute. (TMZ)
