Toronto rap star Tory Lanez isn’t ready to bid farewell to Quarantine Radio. The hip-hop entertainer has lit up social media with an intent to bring back his popular Instagram Live series for at least one more week.

Tory Lanez Teases Quarantine Radio’s Mighty Return

Lanez went to his Instagram page Thursday with the ultimate tease. Tory vowed to broadcast on IG Live once again if a NSFW post hit 100,000 comments.

“IF THIS POST GET 100,000 COMMENTS ……. I’ll BRING QUARANTINE RADIO BACK FOR 1 MORE WEEK NEXT WEEK” -Tory Lanez’s Instagram

The Last Call

Recently, Lanez announced plans to slow down his Instagram Live events. Tory Lanez revealed he would have two more final Quarantine Radio broadcasts and then wait to see if the government will continue a nationwide stay-at-home push.

Wait, There’s More

In early April 2020, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri went online to explain why his company had to shut down Tory’s Quarantine Radio. Despite his love for Lanez’s broadcasts, Mosseri explained why NSFW content ultimately forced IG to get involved.

“Quarantine Radio is great. So first shout-out to Tory Lanez on that. Quarantine Radio is not banned. The lives have been great, the lives with the fans have been great but you can’t have nudity on Instagram. That’s part of our community guidelines. That’s the rules and we can’t make exceptions. And on a couple of those lives yesterday and a few of those accounts, there was nudity. So we had to stop the live and there’s a short period of time where you can’t go live again and that just, we have to stick to the rules otherwise why do we have them? But generally a big fan of Tory Lanez, big fan of Quarantine Radio – I hope it comes back soon but there’s no nudity.”
