Jae Grind is a Hip-Hop recording artist making his way from The Bronx, New York. With 5-years of experience on his resume, the aspiring rapper is ready to solidify his name in 2023 by any means. Rap Olympus Media recently sat down with Jae Grind to discuss his ongoing music career and more. Let’s get right into it!
We just finished listening to your latest project, “Dust 2 Dust.” Can you tell us a little bit about it?
“Dust 2 Dust” is a two-sided coin. At its core, it’s about the importance of life, your inner circle, and the people who helped guide you on your journey. But on the flip side, it’s about revenge and fighting to protect what’s yours at all costs.
What separates you from other artists, and how would you describe your sound?
What separates me most is my work ethic and authenticity. My sound is new and original, a 1-of-1 prototype. I always take pride in bringing my true self to the table when I write and record music.
Who inspired your creativity? Also, if you could work with any artist, who would it be?
2Pac is by far my earliest inspiration by a long shot. Nas, Dave East, Jadakiss, and Styles P are a few artists I would love to collaborate with on a record.
What big moves do you have planned for 2023?
I’m releasing another project in late February (early March) called “Monster!” Be on the lookout for that joint on all digital streaming platforms. I plan on reaching a larger audience this year, but my ultimate goal is to go on tour in the future. The grind doesn’t stop!
