Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West knows how to document life-altering moments. Yeezy went online this week to hilariously share a cringe juice-spilling moment from his studio sessions with music icon Dr. Dre.
Kanye x Dre
Heading into the weekend, Mr. West lit up his Twitter page with a must-see pic. Ye kept it 100 and joked about spilling an orange juice mix onto the Doc’s studio floor.
“IM SORRY DOCTOR DRE I SPILT THESE THREE DROPS OF ORANGE JUICE MIXED WITH UUUUUUM WHILE WE WERE FINISHING OUR FIRST PROJECT #WESTDAYEVER” -Kanye West’s Twitter
In December 2019, footage surfaced of Yeezy explaining what it took to get in the studio with Dre. Kanye spoke in front of a massive crowd and credited the Doc for inspiring his music-making.
“I used to spend all my time trying to make my beats be mixed as good as Dr. Dre, who knew all I had to do was do an album for God and then Dr. Dre would start mixing my beats.”
Wait, There’s More
For Thanksgiving 2019, Kanye blessed fans with his new cinematic-looking “Closed On Sunday” music video premiere. The visual also featured his wife Kim Kardashian and their children.
Before You Go
According to hitmaker OMG Ronny, fans should expect Ye to come through with a gospel feel on his upcoming Jesus Is King 2 album with Dr. Dre.
OMG Ronny is hard at work producing Kanye West‘s collab with Dr. Dre … and he’s dropping tons of hints about the highly-anticipated sequel to “Jesus is King.” OR, who produced “Everything We Need” on Kanye’s most recent album, says Yeezy and Dre’s newest venture is going to have a similar gospel feel, and Dre’s working on some additional parts of “Jesus is King.” (TMZ)
