Brooklyn rapper Casanova 2x will not be leaving prison as he awaits trial for charges of racketeering and drug trafficking. A judge has shut down his request for bail and he’ll stay behind bars.
Casanova 2x Denied $2.5M Bail
According to reports, U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul Davison says while his defense offered a good argument for being let out, Casanova was too much of a threat to be given freedom. He denied his request for $2.5 million bail and quoted his prior violent actions.
“When you go back to the history and characteristics of this defense … this is a defendant who has, over the last decade, managed to rack up three serious violent felony convictions. It is quite reasonable to infer that people who cross [Casanova] get hurt.”

Cas has been behind bars for more than a month, facing trial on a long list of charges that could land him in prison for life. He recently shared a screenshot revealing how he’s able to keep his head up amid his legal troubles. While Casanova 2x awaits the next step in the legal process, his Twitter account recently posted a screen grab from a phone call with the rapper and his kids. The caption included that Cas plans to see his children soon.

Casanova’s wife, model Swaggy Jazzy, is holding it down while her husband is locked up. She took to Instagram to bash “fake friends” who have ghosted the couple.
