West Coast rapper Doja Cat isn’t losing any sleep over Nas‘ “Ultra Black” disses. The hip-hop artist has responded to verbal jabs aimed at her from the New York rap legend.

Doja Cat Addresses Nas

In a new clip, Doja went the trolling route in responding to Nas. Despite having the song playing in the background, Cat played off the disses and made a joke about children’s music group The Wiggles.

“I’m so offended and upset by this song. Have you guys heard ‘Fruit Salad’ by The Wiggles?”

High-Key Details

On the must-hear new release, Nasty Nas doesn’t censor himself or rely on a subliminal line to get at Doja. The rap star completely went at her with a reference to the drama she’s stirred in recent months about not fully embracing her Black roots.

“Sometimes I’m over-black, even my clothes are black/Cash Money with the white tee and the soldier rag/We goin’ ultra black, unapologetically black/The opposite of Doja Cat, Michael Blackson black” -Nas’ “Ultra Black” Single

Before You Go

In July 2020, Cat went to her Twitter page to speak out. Doja questioned why she recently had support from people viewing her as a Black musician and then suddenly having her African America roots taken away.

“Remember when people said I was black when I had a #1 along side 3 other black women but now the same people wanna say I’m white? Maybe I’m not the one here with “identity issues”. ? … Deleted my last tweet because someone brought up a very valid point about it. My response was that I’m standing up for myself because I know what the truth is.” -Doja Cat’s Twitter
