Veteran rapper Lil Cease has spilled some major details about some all-time hip-hop greats. During a recent Instagram Live conversation, he spoke about the relationship between JAY-Z and the Notorious B.I.G.

Lil Cease Spills A B.I.G. Detail

According to Cease, B.I.G. heard Hov’s famous bars on “Dead Presidents” and made up his mind. Notorious believed Young Hov had the edge over him lyrically.

“They respected each other as men, and respected each other as artists. Big thought he was doper than him! He used to say ‘yo, that n***a nicer than me.’ I swear to God on everything I love. Every n***a can vouch for it. These are straight facts. When JAY-Z said that line on ‘Dead Presidents,’ ‘n***as tickle fleas off my kneecaps, n***a believe that,’ Big was like ‘that n***a got me.’ I used to sit there like ‘B, you bugging,’ cause I had adapted more to his language. You know, JAY was digging in the books, saying some other s**t. I had to go get a dictionary, like f**k is he talking about? We wasn’t tapping into it because we were so young, bada** kids. I adapted to Big because it was more direct, my language.”
