The highly-anticipated exhibition fight between iconic boxers Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. is not happening in September. However, new reports claim the must-see clash is going down but now it will be mid-fall.

Mike Tyson’s Comeback Delayed

According to new reports, the epic face-off between Iron Mike and Roy Jones will now force people to wait out a little longer. The new date has both fighters coming out of retirement for Thanksgiving weekend.

Tyson’s exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr. has been pushed back from its originally scheduled date of Sept. 12 to Nov. 28, Tyson and Triller, the social media platform behind the event, confirmed to TMZ on Tuesday. “Changing the date to November 28th will give more people the opportunity to see the biggest comeback in boxing history,” Tyson said.”This temporary inconvenience will last longer than Roy Jones Jr. He better be ready, I’m coming full force.” (CBS Sports)
