Wait, There’s More

Heading into Friday, Nasir Jones and producer Hit-Boy hit the green light on dropping their new “Ultra Black” anthem. The song is the first official single from Nasty Nas’ newly announced King’s Disease.

Nas has announced a new album. It’s called King’s Disease, and it’s set to arrive next Friday (August 21). He shared a track from the record which features Hit-Boy. Nas’ most recent album was last year’s The Lost Tapes 2, which followed 2018’s Nasir. Earlier this year, he joined Public Enemy, Questlove, YG, and more for a remix of “Fight the Power” at this year’s BET Awards. He also appeared on the PBS series Poetry in America, where he discussed Walt Whitman. (Pitchfork)

Hit-Boy also went to his Twitter page to announce Nas’ new album.

Before You Go

There is already speculation about Nas possibly having a new collaboration with music icon Dr. Dre set for the album.

The upcoming project is set to feature 14 tracks with an additional bonus cut and follows the rapper’s Kanye West-executive produced album Nasir from 2018. Nas was also recently spotted cooking in the studio with Dr. Dre, although it remains unconfirmed if their newest collab will appear on King’s Disease. (HYPEBEAST)
