Rapper Yella Beezy was arrested on a warrant last night in the Dallas area for failure to pay his bond on a pending sexual assault case from 2021. According to the warrant, the Texas native failed to pay his bond in full.
The “That’s On Me” rapper’s bail is now set at $1 million dollars. In 2021, the Dallas rapper was accused of raping a woman while on a date and got in trouble with weapons and drugs.
Yella Beezy’s Legal Trouble
Last year, Dallas rapper Yella Beezy was charged with sexual assault after it was reported he raped a woman on their first date in April 2021.
According to an affidavit obtained by TMZ, Beezy allegedly forced himself onto the woman despite her saying “no” and gaslighted her into thinking she initiated the act by kissing him.
Yella Beezy was arrested in Collin County, Texas last November and charged with felony sexual assault along with other charges including a felony for an abandoned/endangered child and a misdemeanor for carrying a weapon.
The Dallas rapper was also locked up in August of last year on weapon and drug charges. He posted a video of police searching his car and accused them of setting him up. The police apparently found 400 grams of an uncontrolled substance, 4 handguns, and a rifle.
